Always nice, to list your personal Top 10 of all time. This is mine:
1. Tintin in Tibet (Hergé)
2. Blake & amp; Mortimer: The Yellow Sign (Jacobs)
3. Isabelle and the Monster (Tardi)
4. The nest of the Marsupilamis (Franquin)
5. Fair of the Immortals (Bilal)
6. The village idiot of Schoonvergeten (Comès)
7. Hungarian Rhapsody (Giardino)
8. The beast is dead (Calvo). The original edition then with those fantastic colors.
9. Storm: The Last Fighter (Don Lawrence)
10. Heer Bommel and the top bosses (Toonder)
I am curious about your Top-10. Especially since your comic preferences also say something about yourself!

Phew, I just can't figure it out. But Tintin in Tibet and the Yellow sign are some kind of "bohemian rhapsody" that are brilliant.
Maybe you can think of a nice application to generate some sort of top 100 of all time.

Yes, that's a nice idea. We could offer the option to vote on an item. We will work out a little further.

Isabelle and the Monster and The Nest of the Marsupilamis are mainly in that place because of the impression they made on me when I first read them. Maybe there are better Tardi (Trench Warfare?) Or Franquin (QRN?) Albums if you organize a Top-100 election but these are my personal favorites.

PFffff, I really wouldn't know that right now.
I read so many comics, some stick around and some don't. In addition, I also read a lot of comics and mangas, I fear that I will no longer start to compile a top 10. What I really like is Thorgal, Franka, Deathnote, Golden city, Monster, S1ngle, well, I can go on for another hour… ..

Hello Scrooge,
Pffff… you are right… so difficult… now started with:
- The Killing Joke (Bolland)
- Douwe Dabbert
- Conan (Barry Windsor-Smith)
- XIII
But there is still so much.
Incidentally, I find it difficult to name individual albums… series is better off for me.
Greetings,
René Visser

yes, there is smuggling hey, that's how I can do it ;-) But there is something in it that what you read says something about who you are. Come on then, a top-5:
1 Koos Voos, Gotlib (well, secretly Gotlib's entire oeuvre)
2 Tintin: Unicorn + Treasure (actually one story)
3 Asterix And Cleopatra (And The Rest Of The Series When Goscinny Was Still Around)
4 The Yellow Mark Blake and Mortimer
5 Horizon (Lian Ong)
Oops, Koos Voos on one. What would my psychiatrist say about that…

Just started cataloging here and still go through the forum items. haha, nice subject, which I also like to pick up on.
My personal top ten looks like this:
1. Trench Warfare (Tardi)
2. Ibiscus (Rabaté), the cycle as a whole
3. L'ascencion du haut mal (David B.), also the entire series
4. le cri du peuple (Tardi), as a whole
5. Jimmy Corrigan, the smartest kid on earth (Chris Ware)
6. Ici Même (Tardi)
7. The Chinkel (Rosinski)
8. L'autoroute du soleil (Baru)
9. Buddha (Tezuka), as a whole
10. Eva (Comès)
Actually, I would like to continue with that list. There is still so much that is not to be sneezed at either and is one of my favorites.
That there is so much French in it, I can't help it. Bilingual Fleming isn't it…
And finally: it is not too obvious that I am a big tardiphile :) :) ??

Welcome to the Michkepee forum!
Nice choices. Although I did not know the word yet, I must confess that I am also a Tardifiel. I chose Isabelle over Trench Warfare (also impressive of course!) Because I was the first Tardi comic to read and it made a big impression. I find your choice for Eva instead of the village idiot of Schoonvergeten surprising. Will Eva reread again. I am a monolingual Dutch person so I do not venture French yet :-) Le cri du peuple has been translated (Voice of the people).
If you've got the hang of it, feel free to continue after 10. I'm curious about your Top-100 :-)

A very obvious number one, I know. And that “Le cri” can also be translated and especially read, is not unknown to me either, because it is also in my possession (just take a look at my collection).
I have been “Tardifiel” for a long time. I got that virus through the magazine “Wordt Vervolgd”, which unfortunately passed away much too quickly. Fortunately there was “A Suivre” that unfortunately no longer exists.
Because you ask it so beautifully: hereafter the following ten:
11. Letters from the bar (Stassen)
12. Brüsel (Schuiten / Peeters)
13. l'Homme qui marche (Taniguchi)
14. Life is a gift but you will not get it (Seth)
15. Quartier lointain (Taniguchi)
16. Persepolis (Satrapi)
17. Maus (Spiegelman)
18. La débauche / the degradation (Tardi)
19. Deadly Games (Tardi)
20. Niçoise salad (Baudoin).
Another few Tardis. And also some poetic comics, which really appeal to me, such as almost everything by Taniguchi (unfortunately not much available in translation).
The village idiot (Comès) is also not bad, of course, far from it.
While compiling this list, I am concerned that there is an urgent need to reread some things :-).
gr, Michkepee

I just signed up and since I love lists, here's my version:
1. The incal (the complete original series; all spin-offs are unnecessary in my opinion)
2. Corto Maltese in Siberia (actually the whole series, but I have to choose ...)
3. Blueberry - Angel Face
4. Comanche - The Wolves of Wyoming
5. The Man Without Conscience (Hugo Pratt)
6. Indian Summer (both parts; 1 story)
7. Eva (I also choose this story from Comès in the end)
8. Indian series - The way of revenge - 9. Tintin - The 7 Crystal Balls
10. Suske en Wiske - The Tuf-Tuf club
The list may already indicate that I am a collector of Western and Indian comics. I also keep track of the work of Hugo Pratt, Comès and the collaboration between Renaud and Dufaux. And now that I say this, I realize that Santiaq would not be out of place in this list.

Nice list! I completely forgot about the Incal. It should have been in my top 10, actually. And Hermann also misses me now (surprising that you choose Comanche by the way). Hmmm… I have to make a top 20 soon.
@ michkepee: I should have thought of Maus myself of course. By the way, where's your top 50? :-)

I will on occasion thoroughly delve into my collection and then knit a sequel to that top 20.
