An ex-libris always belongs to one book and was therefore originally sold together with that book.
A print is autonomously manufactured.

Neither do I, but for now I just assume that he wants to know where to enter that exlibris. If he wants something else, then he post it.
dank je

ik heb zojuist de volgende items ingevoerd:
https://www.catawiki.nl/catalogus/strip-ex-libris-en-prenten/series/3497003-roel-dijkstra

Almost right. The rules are that the complete portfolio may be entered (envelope plus content) and that the separate prints may also be entered.
The separate prints are therefore fine and only the description of the empty envelope must be different. After all, an empty envelope is not a print or portfolio. That description must be adjusted so that it becomes a filled envelope \ complete portfolio and then it is all right. I have https: // www. catawiki.nl/catalogus/strip-ex-libris-and-prints/species/portfolio/6389265-betty-dodge?area=0b36d0fac87938eba32b0cf71ab58c44253c0ace
fixed.
I also linked him directly to the comic book series and to the artist (goes with the "link collection area" button) so that the portfolio is easy to find from the comic section
ps If you want to enter the empty envelope as such in the catalog, you should do so in the "Other" section.
I have adjusted the series for Roel dijkstra. At Betty & amp; Dodge, it makes sense to choose a separate series for the portfolio so that you can see the complete portfolio and the individual prints together through that series. This is not the case with Roel. So I have placed them in the general series "Prints Don Lawrence Collection".

Thank you for adjusting and the explanation.
I have adjusted the description of the envelope and linked the item to the series and draftsman:

Question about the print / ex-libris that are included in the Rode Ridder integrals The first adventures and The Biddeloo years. Are these prints or are they ex-libris? I still have trouble determining what they are. Now they have been entered as a print by someone. It's about this
It also says Technology used: Digital print. Is this correct?

They are indeed ex-libris ... (see Arco's explanation) Adjusted them!
Thank you. Start getting it.
A second question. Is it ok to change the title to the name of the person being depicted. And then add an extra series: De Rode Ridder; The first adventures and with the other De Rode Ridder; The Biddeloo Years - Sword and Sorcery.

@blueberry
@blueberry
why do you think that, it clearly states that it only belongs to 1 book, so not the same for several books. So this is a picture.

Wikipedia
dit is de definitie
An ex libris is a property mark that is pasted into a book. Such a proprietary mark can also be stamped or die-cut directly into the book. An ex libris often shows the words ex libris, the name of the book's owner and a figurative, emblematic image. Wikipedia

That's the definition for Ex libris for books .
In comics, the term is actually used incorrectly, but it is already so established that there is no point in worrying about it. Arco's definition is very useful for Strip ex-libris .
As far as the title is concerned, it is common practice for items that do not have an explicit name to state what is shown in the title field. So indeed the name of the depicted character, with the album title in brackets. There is a separate field for Series/movie/game.
But I see that usually the series name or album title is filled in, and since there is no administrator to keep this section in order, it will remain that way.
Edit: apologies, I'm mistaken, there are two administrators. But I don't know if this section has their full attention.

The slogan: I invented comic book ex-libris at the time to make a distinction with the real book ex-libris. Especially since it is something completely different. A book ex libris is a personal property image of a book collector. The comic book ex-libris are actually prints added to a book by the publisher.
It also happens that a shop adds a picture to an album. We shouldn't really call that ex-libris, because this was not added by the publisher.
@boekenmagazijn: I think that one manager (bleuberry) pays a lot of attention to this section, so that the other (me) can spend my scarce spare time on managing the book section, for example, because there will also be a lot of work and only two active administrators. I have been managing sections since the very beginning of Catawiki and I hope to continue doing it for a good time.
There is still room for new administrators in a lot of sections.
