De View Masters staan bij Speelgoed, maar alle gekheid op een stokje, de rubrieken zijn inderdaad aan een grondige opkuis toe ;-)

Misschien is Speelgoed (voorlopig) inderdaad zo gek nog niet…
Maybe Toys (for the time being) are indeed not that bad ...
In de rubriek DVD/Video staat bij dragers/media; Filmstrook (toverlantaarn) (rare plaats voor deze rubriek, maar goed)
Waar ik overigens ook nog een hele stapel van heb, maar nog geen scanner heb kunnen vinden die deze kan scannen.
Maar goed, dit betreft dan filmstroken en niet de losse plaatjes.
In the section DVD / Video you will find carriers / media; Filmstrip (magic lantern) (weird place for this section, but okay)
Which I also have a whole stack of, but have not yet been able to find a scanner that can scan it.
Anyway, this concerns film strips and not the individual images.
Voorlopig maar bij “Overige” gezet. Het past zeker niet bij DVD, maar ook niet bij speelgoed.
For now but set to “Other”. It certainly doesn't fit with DVD , but also not with toys.
Het lijkt mij dat die glazen toverlantaarn plaatjes bij die toverlantaarn filmstrookjes horen.
Of die dan bij de films horen is een ander verhaal.
Het zijn beiden meer een soort van dia’s.
Alleen bij die filmstrookjes zitten die dia’s aan elkaar vast.
Dat maakt het in mijn ogen nog geen film.
It seems to me that those glass magic lantern pictures belong to those magic lantern strips.
Whether they belong to the movies is a different story.
They are both more like slides.
Only those slides are stuck together with those filmstrips.
In my opinion, that doesn't make it a movie.
Volgens mij is de toverlantaarn (filmstrookjes) bij DVD enigszins misplaatst. Als ik het daar toevoeg kan ik slechts 2 velden invoeren en met het verplichte veld “taal op de hoes” kan ik niets, vandaar mijn keuze bij overige.
I think the magic lantern (film strips) on DVD is somewhat out of place. If I add it there I can only enter 2 fields and with the mandatory field “language on the cover” I cannot do anything, hence my choice at others.

Ze staan ook bij Strips, Disney, Film/TV-collectibles, Boeken etc.
Ik heb er al eerder voor gepleit om er een officiële (sub-)rubriek voor te creëren.

Dat denk ik niet.
Die hele speelgoed rubriek vind ik sowieso een ongelukkige.
Je kunt er allerlei items in kwijt, zonder dat de specifieke invoervelden beschikbaar zijn.
We hebben niet voor niets behalve de speelgoed rubriek, ook rubrieken voor bordspellen, modelauto’s, poppen en beren, poppetjes en treintjes.
Er is ook een aparte rubriek voor lego in de maak.
Trek de rest van het speelgoed dan ook maar uit elkaar zou ik zeggen.
Kan de speelgoed rubriek verder als thema rubriek.

I think that whole toy section is an unfortunate one anyway.
You can store all kinds of items in it, without the specific input fields being available.
It is not without reason that we have, in addition to the toy section, sections for board games, model cars, dolls and bears, dolls and trains.
There is also a separate section for Lego in the making.

Ook daar kijken naar de VORM, zou ik zeggen: wat is het precies voor object?
(Ik ken genoeg objecten die de ene als speelgoed betitelt en de ander als gebruiksvoorwerp.)
Toys is indeed, just like Comics, a far too broad concept.

Ik ben weer terug van vakantie en heb als eerste actie “Filmstrook (toverlantaarn)” verwijderd als optie in de DVD / Video rubriek. Er moet inderdaad een aparte rubriek voor viewmasterschijven, toverlantaarnplaatjes / filmstroken komen. Heb ik op onze nieuwe rubriekenlijst gezet.
I am back from vacation and have the first action removed “Filmstrook (magic lantern)” as an option in the DVD / Video section. There should indeed be a separate section for viewmaster discs, magic lantern slides / film strips. I have put it on our new category list.
