It is indeed one of the advantages of Catawiki that you can offer unlimited items (mentioned in another thread).

On the other hand, this also has the disadvantage that there will probably (certainly) be items that are no longer for sale or that the seller no longer looks after.

That is why I would suggest that (for example) every three months the seller is asked if his items are still for sale. He would then be able to renew (everything) via a check header.

That's a nice idea because there is indeed that downside. Thank you! I will discuss this with Marco.

In my opinion, as a Catawiki you don't have to ask the seller a question. That is his own responsibility. Moreover, you just keep the problem with sloppy users.

The problem will be solved more quickly if your item automatically disappears after someone bought it through the site. Or is that already the case? I am a new Catawiki user.

Furthermore, it seems smart to me to take a period that an item is for sale (for example six months, with the option to renew. See for example marketplace.

The automatic deletion of an order is almost ready. You can easily put it back if the purchase is canceled. If you have more copies of an item for sale (you can enter the number of items) then one will be deducted from the number if one is sold.
