Some may not think about it yet, but I think that in the future the barcode will also be very important for collectors! A barcode reader can be connected directly to the PC via USB, so that is not the problem (costs 15, -). Obtaining the databases linked to the barcodes, that's the challenge….

A collector already exists in the U.S. with which items can be entered through a barcode reader. Even more important are the databases that are linked to those barcodes. Databases as such are not copyrighted, but a compiler can appeal to them. Barcodes can be found on CDs, LPs, computer games, books, magazines, games, you name it!

Has Catawiki ever made an effort to approach the various manufacturers for overviews and lists of their products? Then you have the data first hand and immediately complete! Don't forget to ask for the barcodes.

My suggestion is to create a field for the barcode number immediately after the Catawiki number. If only for the future. By the way, the more codes an item is associated with, the more clarity in the database!
