I still run into users and their shops who entered something in 2013 and not since. When I order something, I don't hear anything anymore. Somewhere then something is not going well in the communication OR the user is no longer active.

Dear Erik,

You could pass them on to Arco via a private message.

He can then see how the shop is doing, latest changes, feedback reactions, etc. If after informing and no response after, for example, a week or 2, they may be “closed”. Would be better for LastDodo if we could weed out those shops too.

As a catalog manager, Arco is the only one (other than the owner) who can “close” a shop.

Keep in mind that Arco is working hard with the team to get the entire site up and running again. So it may take a while.

Side issue: There can always be personal circumstances why a seller does not respond or has not closed the shop temporarily. I assume you mean that LD can use the authority to temporarily close an inactive shop in case of complaints about orders. I would certainly not set a term to be finalized at 2 weeks. Seems to me that LD is also not waiting for some members to make a noise if at some point they see that everything they had in a shop is gone. Even if someone is wrong does not mean that that person cannot make a huge fuss, those are hand ties of the 1st order.

It's just an idea: In case of complaints about orders (after verification), set the shop to temporarily closed with the reason in the relevant field "seller does not respond to orders, temporarily closed by LD" If the seller nevertheless wants to become active he / she will automatically see that he / she must ask LD to open the shop stating the situation.

In the event that buyers simply give a negative or neutral feedback after a non-response to an order, this is also an indication for other prospective buyers not to order in that particular shop. The feedback system is also useful for that.

Closing a shop still means putting the check mark in the profile. Then nothing will be deleted and the owner can turn things back on when it comes out

So don't make assumptions that are not mentioned anywhere.
