Sorry for the late response. There does indeed seem to be something wrong with syncing at the moment, I have tried it with my own account. So I'm going to check it out.

I was curious if you managed to sync in the meantime, or not at all.

Update: hmm . It worked for me anyway, it just took a bit longer than usual.

Hi Marcelius,

Would you like to check the following things for me: 1. Which iPhone model do you have exactly, 2. Which iOS version is your phone running (iOS version number can be found on settings / general / software update) 3. do you have the latest version of the catawiki app on the iphone?

I tested some other things with my iphone and ipad this morning and have now managed to break syncing on my iphone while it still works on the ipad. So the issue seems to be reproducing, and we can now look more closely to what is causing it.

Iphone 4 16GB (bought in May 2011).

IOS tells me sneeze, cannot find a software update under general. I do see something under network with version: 4.3.1 (8G4).

catawiki app downloaded yesterday (later on ipod where it works).

Thanks Marcel for the information. 4.3.1 is indeed an Apple version number. The software update screen was only added in version 5, which is why you can't find it. By the way, your iPhone 4 can run fine on version 5. Maybe you should link it to iTunes and update it. version is your iPod using? The sync problem will be further investigated next week. I will keep you posted.

I am unable to sync my collection on the app for my ipad3. I have never been able to sync yet and I have had the app for three days now. Hopefully something can be done about it soon?

Since my response on August 18, I still have the same problem that the Catawiki app on my iPad 3 does not sync my collection. I keep getting the same message that it may take some time to sync. Do you have to wait in that same dialog box with the just mentioned message? Or can you just "close" that window? I am curious and would like to hear the solution.

Last Thursday we sent a new version of the app to Apple containing the solution to your problem and are now waiting for approval by Apple. This normally takes a few days. We will let you know when the new version is available.

Marco, Thanks for the comment. Today my collection syncing on the iPad 3 worked! Tried it out immediately of course. Wonderful result! Compliments for that! When trying it out, I ran into that you can only watch. It is not possible to make changes, or I have missed something. Well, that may still be in line with the further development of the app? Of course, it is nice that you can take your collection with you. the app of course!

Today the new version of the iPhone / iPad app has been put in the app store. The approval by Apple took a little longer than expected.

This version solves the problem that a number of people indicated that after the synchronization was done you could not see your collection.

@ Edward-99: Changes cannot be made , or I missed something.

Through the app you can indeed only view your collection and search list. It is not yet possible to make changes.

Hopefully this can be resolved soon Thank you for the response to my question about making changes and that this is not (yet?) Possible with the catawiki app. That's why syncing is so important. You enter your mutations in the regular Catawiki account via the internet and in order to get it in your app, you have to synchronize. I took a look at what's going on. Your synchronization requests have been received successfully and your collection is also ready to be retrieved by your iPhone. Do you receive a notification that your collection has been collected and refreshed? If not, it appears that you have turned off the messaging service (push notification) for the app. To turn it on you have to do the following: - Click on Settings - Click on Notifications - Scroll down until you see Catawiki - And check that "Message center" is turned on. As soon as you have enabled that, request your collection again.

It might be an idea to use the Send and Synchronize collection button in gray (disabled) to make? I don't always feel like something is happening and I don't think cbasd1 is the only one with the problem.

And when does that Simulate PNS button go away? I use it now when I find the update too slow and when I click on it, it suddenly refreshes my images. I don't think that's the purpose of that button.
