Gebruiker Marc van der Heijden (gebruikersnaam Artdecorations ) is ook freelance grafisch vormgever. Hij heeft ons benaderd met het aanbod om shopbanners (headers) voor Catawiki shops te ontwerpen. Het betreft dus de balk aan de bovenkant van je shop waarmee je je shop een eigen gezicht kunt geven (via de link “Shop instellingen” in de linkerkolom in Mijn Shop of Mijn Profiel voer je die afbeelding in). Een goed ontworpen banner geeft je shop een professionele uitstraling en maakt ook het shoppen op Catawiki leuker. De banner wordt ook op onze homepage gebruikt als je shop van de dag bent. Met een eigen shopbanner maak je daar kans op.

Marc rekent voor een banner met alleen tekst 15 euro. Een banner met foto’s of illustraties kost 25 euro.

Wij zitten hier als Catawiki verder niet tussen en verdienen er ook niet aan. We zijn als Catawiki ook niet verantwoordelijk voor de opgeleverde banners. Wel hebben we veel vertrouwen in de kwaliteiten van Marc.

Als je Marc benadert dan verzoekt hij je zoveel mogelijk info te geven over deze zaken:

1. Hoe moet de banner er ongeveer uitzien (maak een korte beschrijving)
2. Stuur maximaal 2 foto’s cq illustraties op die je erop wil hebben (indien gewenst). Let daarbij wel op dat het royalty vrije plaatjes of foto’s zijn en je toestemming hebt om deze te gebruiken. Indien je geen illustraties of foto’s hebt, kan Marc hiervoor zorgen.
3. Welke tekst en welk stijl lettertype. Hoe groot moet de tekst en moet de tekst 3D of gewoon vlak.
4. Eventueel de gewenste kleur of kleurverloop
5. Uiteraard kun je een voorbeeld meesturen van een bannerstijl die je mooi vindt

If you approach Marc, he will ask you to provide as much information as possible about these matters:

1. What should the banner look like (make a short description)
2. Send a maximum of 2 photos or illustrations that you want on it (if desired). Please note that these are royalty-free images or photos and that you have permission to use them. If you don't have illustrations or photos, Marc can provide them.
3. Which text and which font style. How big should the text be and should the text be 3D or plain.
4. Optionally the desired color or color gradient

I just want to add to Rene's message that after the request to design a banner, I return one or more drafts, so that you can ultimately choose the best design.
I made 10 concept designs for the Collector. The more information you provide to me via the above questionnaire, the better.

I aim to have the final banner ready within a week at the latest. This obviously depends on what a shop owner wants.

Make sure you use copyright-free images.

Another tip: make sure that the proportions remain the same.
Because you have scaled the picture, the proportions are no longer correct.
You can see that in the figures on your picture, for example.

I see that the above offer is from a while ago.

I would like to offer the same services, I am has been working as a video editor and motion graphic designer for over 14 years, which means extensive experience with photoshop, illustrator and after effects. In addition to working for TV, also designed many logos, corporate identities and printed matter. In the past, I have also designed many logos for people who were active on, hattrick, barafranca and cu2 (text-based online games and social media). So if you want a nice banner let me know !!
