Ik heb een exemplaar van de strip “De Vrolijke avonturen van Doris Dobbel” in mijn bezit. In de catalogus op deze website lees ik dat deze strip een grote waarde heeft.
Ik weet echter niet zeker of mijn exemplaar wel precies dezelfde versie is als deze uit de catalogus.
Er staat geen jaartal noch adres of verdere uitleg gedrukt.
Het album is met twee nietjes vastgemaakt en op de binnenflap staat een naam geschreven in stift. Verder zijn er geen beschadigingen.

Ik had graag meer informatie bekomen in verband met mijn exemplaar. Kan ik daarvoor op dit forum terecht? Zo nee, tot wie kan ik me daarvoor dan best wenden?

I have a copy of the comic strip “The Happy Adventures of Doris Dobbel” in my possession. In the catalog on this website I read that this comic has a great value.
However, I'm not sure if my copy is exactly the same version as the one from the catalog.
There is no year, address or further explanation printed.
The album is fastened with two staples and a name is written in marker on the inner flap. Furthermore, there are no damages.

Gezien de hele mooie staat van de strip op de scans krijg ik niet meteen de indruk dat het om een strip uit 1952 gaat. Er zijn in 1989 ook uitgaven in eigen beheer geweest waar we nog geen afbeeldingen van hebben.
Maar het zou ook een heel goed bewaarde oude uitgave kunnen zijn. Ik ga even navraag doen bij iemand die er denk ik wel iets over kan zeggen.

Dit is zeker een eerste druk want voor zover ik weet nog niet herdrukt in dezelfde uitvoering. Die ‘eigen beheer’ uitgaven van de jaren ’80 zijn gebundelde fotokopies.
Een eerste druk in super kwaliteit, nog nooit eerder gezien in die kwaliteit. Voor een haalbare prijs zou je de veilingprijzen eens moeten nakijken, dit zou toch een top-prijs moeten halen. Zowat het beste en duurste nederlandstalige stripverhaal schat ik.

This is certainly a first edition because as far as I know not yet reprinted in the same version. Those "self-managed" releases of the 1980s are bundled photocopies.
A first edition in super quality, never seen in that quality before. For a feasible price you should check the auction prices, this should get a top price. About the best and most expensive Dutch comic strip I estimate.
