At m.catawiki.nl you will find a version of Catawiki that is specially intended for use on your smartphone (telephone with internet). You can consult the catalog and view your collection and wish list.

We're not quite done with it yet, but we no longer wanted to keep it from you. We will, among other things, build in additional subdivisions. For example, now you immediately see the albums when you click on a comic book series. There still needs to be a level of album series in between for clarity. And that also applies to other sections.

Those paper wish lists that you still see at trade fairs have at least had their day, we think :-)

Many thanks go to eric-t who contributed to the set-up and tested it. And of course to our two graduates Arjan and Spencer who worked hard together with Marco to realize this mobile website.

We look forward to your feedback!

On my cell phone the text is double and superimposed. As a result, it can hardly be read anymore (LG Arena 8G). If I put that problem aside, it looks very good otherwise. Clear and simple. Just the way I want it.

What kind of browser do you have on your mobile? We have tested on many devices, but the problem is that there are many types of mobile browsers ...

I'm not very familiar with cell phones.
All I can find at arena.lgmobile.com/en/ is that I have a full HTML browser, that's all.

Anyway, so far I only have internet via wi-fi. I still use mobile internet too little to include this in my subscription.

By the way, the images that you can view from your collection look good. Crystal clear!

Used for the first time this afternoon. Works well on the Iphone. Good and clear layout, and easy to use. You can soon leave your notebook at home.

A particularly useful addition would be if an item from the catalog can be booked into the collection. This allows you to keep the entire administration in order at the fair itself in one go. It happened to me that I bought an album twice anyway, because I couldn't find it in my already purchased stuff from that day in the hustle and bustle.

(you know it .. went to fifteen stalls, there a row, here a stack, everything in the bag, because at home it was processed and then suddenly… 'did I take it from that stand or not?')

I'm happy with it, especially since I'm only missing two books from my comic search list, unlike Willem. I still have to watch out that I don't turn someone upside down while staring at my mobile.

LangeJan01: The last few days I have been getting the message HTTP error: 500 internal server error. Is it yours or is it my provider?

Can you give some more information about this. Does it occur on certain screens?

I was a bit short-sighted indeed. When I access the internet with my cell phone I first get the message that he couldn't reach the server. When I surf to Catawiki, I do get the welcome screen with logo, my collection, my search list, catalog and login. When logging in, I enter my username (langejan01) and password, tick remember me and log in. And then after some waiting, the HTTP error: 500 appears. So I cannot enter it and to copy my wish list for Houten is also something.

Today I found out by accident that I no longer see pictures on the mobile version. At home I tried to log in to m.catawiki.nl via the landline. That works fine, but no images here either.

Has anything changed in the settings. I always found it useful to see a picture.

I actually wanted to start a conversation about the 'app' for iPhone that I just bought.

I was completely unaware that there was also a special 'm.catawiki.nl'.

Tried right away. And 'm.catawiki.nl' works great. However, it somewhat deprives the 'app' of its existence ...

As far as I can see, the paid 'app' only offers sumier profit on two fronts:

1) Starting the 'app' saves you two (but sometimes only once) pressing a button.

2) The 'app' comes one stage earlier with pictures.

On the other hand, however, the 'app' does not indicate how many items are hidden behind a certain category, while 'm.catawiki.nl' does.

I hope there are more updates on the way to correct that ratio (I feel a bit cheated now).

What I miss with both is an option 'View all' (per collection - for example "comics" - and preferably also an option with pictures). Perhaps this is deliberately not built in because people are afraid of eternal charging / excessive data usage, but most internet connections nowadays make a lot of it and most data limits are not easily exceeded with some still images.

It is also unfortunate that the sorting method cannot be set yourself. Particles within a series are now alphabetically while you usually prefer them by number.

It sounds a bit like complaining (it is), but I have nothing but compliments for Catawiki. If you could adjust the above it is perfect. Keep it up!

There are two main advantages of the iPhone app that you will not mention:

1. The iPhone app is much faster to use because you already have all the images locally. They therefore have to be retrieved.

2. You can also use the iPhone app if you do not have an internet connection. At many trade fairs the mobile internet connection is poor or not available at all. Then you can still use the iPhone app.

Thanks for that "view all" suggestion. Let's discuss.

We are still working on better options for sorting. You will receive it as a free update. We are also working on other improvement actions.

And thanks for those compliments, always welcome! :-)

Recently I got an ipad2. Of course I also have the Catawiki app.

It works great, I didn't know what I saw. Beautifully made. Still I have a question / request: How do I get e.g. my stamps in order of year / catalog number? Is there a possibility for a sort function?

And is it possible to make my Catawiki shop visible as well?

Sincerely,

Thanks for the compliment. We are still going to work on the sorting order. It must indeed be adjustable. At this moment you cannot view your shop via the app.

Today I ran into the following problem within m.catawiki.nl

I have quite a list of artists within my collection of records and CDs. Catawiki always shows an abbreviated list. Clicking on all artists will expand the list to include all artists in my collection.

Within m.catawiki.nl I see the same short list, but there is no possibility to see all artists. Also the search function does not return the artists that are not in the short list.

And the latter in particular is extremely difficult at trade fairs ....

I agree with Frans ..

Just imported my vinyl because that is very useful when I go to a flea market. I often buy double because. And since I recently got a blackberry, Catawiki is a great solution. However, the shortlist is not at all useful. Of course I will still buy doubles :-)

Hi

I've just been trying to find out m.catawiki. Because it seems very useful.

When I want to search for stamps, I miss a few entries that I always use to search:

  • theme / motif
  • country
  • face value
  • year

If I search for color, you get over 40,000 and you quickly get lost.

Could these categories be added?

Greetings Miekie
