Since I have decided to discard my collection of F1 models, a while ago I added a large number of models that are in a wish list in my shop, and send the "searching" a message.

Unfortunately… no result or answer. Before I continue with the expansion, I would like to know how far the lists of values actually work, if this is just a method of attracting people.

the search lists are real but you are not supposed to actively approach people yourself. A user can indicate that he / she will receive an email as soon as a searched item is listed.
Just look in your own profile…

The approach was for the decision to list the items ... however, if a user already receives 100 mails + a message you would still think there will be a response: P

Yes, they have really been entered by the users themselves. However, it is not the case that everyone who keeps a search list wants to buy them online right away. Some people only take their wish list to trade shows. And of course, searchers let the choice of whether to buy online also depend on the asking price and whether they have a budget for it at that time.

It also regularly happens that something special is offered and a lot of searchers respond immediately. Then sometimes discussions arise about who got there first; I've already had to referee…

Incidentally, it is indeed not the intention to email the searchers yourself. A message is automatically sent to the searchers when you put something up for sale. Unless the searchers have turned that off in their profile. Also mailing yourself again causes irritation.

That it is not intended should be mentioned a little better ... for new users at least.

In my case, I came across catawiki by chance and noticed that a user was looking for many of the models present in my collection.

So I first sent a message, and afterwards to make it simple which models are present, I added them as a shop.

Nothing was heard about that, hence my question, as the user in question, as I have discovered, has a very large search list in multiple categories.

If I have some time, I will try to add the rest of what I offer from my collection, however, since it is a 500-600 items it will take some time ...

Are you right and we are going to work on it!

Nice that you also want to enter the rest of your collection.
