Zo gebruik ik mijn zoeklijst ook. Als er ergens een exemplaar te koop komt op Catawiki wil ik daar zelf op reageren en niet benaderd worden door een verkoper.
That's how I use my search list. If there is a copy for sale somewhere on Catawiki, I want to respond to it myself and not be approached by a seller.

De enige oplossing is het kunnen verbergen van je zoekt, voor andere gebruikers.
Het gaat wat mij betreft een ander ook niet zoveel aan wat ik zoek.

Misschien is het een idee om bij de items in je zoeklijst aan te kunnen geven of ze openbaar of privé zijn.

Het is niet de bedoeling dat verkopers zelf zoekers gaan mailen dat ze iets te koop hebben.
Als een verkoper iets aanbiedt in zijn Catawiki shop dan krijgen alle zoekers automatisch bericht dat het gezochte te koop is gekomen. Als de zoeker deze berichten niet wil ontvangen dan kan hij dat aangeven in Mijn Profiel.
Als verkopers op deze manier te werk gaan dan heeft niemand er last van (of althans, je kunt dat dus voorkomen door in Mijn Profiel het attenderen uit te zetten).
Als je toch rechtstreeks benaderd wordt door een verkoper die zelf een mailtje tikt, laat mij dat dan svp weten, dan ga ik daar achteraan.
It is not the intention for sellers to email searchers themselves that they have something for sale.
If a seller offers something in his Catawiki shop, all searchers will automatically receive a message that the item they are looking for has come up for sale. If the searcher does not want to receive these messages, he can indicate this in My Profile.
If sellers work this way, nobody will be bothered by it (or at least, you can prevent that by turning off the notification in My Profile).
If you are nevertheless approached directly by a seller who types an email himself, please let me know and I will follow up.
Maar de zoeklijst onzichtbaar maken, net zoals dat werkt met je collectie is al veel vaker gevraagd… Zitten daar technische onoverkomelijkheden aan?

We hebben er voor gezorgd dat de hele zoeklijst van iemand niet op te vragen is. Dat leek ons als eerste stap voldoende. We kunnen later inderdaad nog optioneel maken of deze wel of niet publiek is en of het wel of niet bij items in de catalogus getoond mag worden of je het zoekt.
We have made sure that someone's entire search list cannot be retrieved. That seemed sufficient as a first step. We can indeed make optional later whether it is public or not and whether or not it may be shown with items in the catalog or if you are looking for it.
