Three much-requested changes have just been made to the photo galleries:
1. Checkmark
You can now also checkmark the photo gallery and add the checked items to your collection, shop or search list at once with the "Bulk add" button in the left column. The check boxes are to the right of the icons above the items. At the bottom of the photo gallery you will also see an option to select or deselect everything at once. Note: if you click on “Bulk add” without checking anything, the entire selection will still be added (all pages whose page numbers you see at the bottom of the photo gallery).
2. In collection icon
We already indicated with 2 icons above the items whether an item was for sale in a shop (shopping basket) or in someone's wish list (eye). A third icon has now been added that indicates whether it is in a collection: an asterisk (we couldn't really find an appropriate icon that remains visible in 16 × 16 pixels, so if someone has a suggestion for a better icon, we hear please). The icons are always greyed out very lightly, but only when they are colored do they apply to that item.
3. Orange underlined: in MY collection, shop or list of values
If one of the icons is underlined with an orange stripe it means it is in your own collection, shop or wish list. This is useful to quickly see what you already have and what you are missing. Of course you have to be logged in for this, otherwise we won't know it's you.
We are very curious about your feedback!

Very good!
Perhaps instead of the hyphen it is possible to simply color the icon?
Think even more clearly.

Rene, basket green and asterisk green if an item is in your shop or collection, red if it is not there? Underlining is unclear.

Probably the line stands out better when it is black.
It is a lot less beautiful than natural.
I am also not in favor of color codes.

Nice! Another improvement. I would have thought such a nice green checkmark to indicate that you had it in your collection. I also think it will be very colorful now, but it will take some getting used to I think.
I personally have never missed the asterisk to indicate that someone (else) has it in his / her collection. If I were to design it, I would leave the icon out if it doesn't apply, gray if it's on someone else's, and colored if it's on me. That could be clearer.
Anyway, a nice improvement!
Eric

I think there is a flaw in it. An item from the shop, but also in the collection, is only underlined if it is present in the shop, not in the collection.

At first I thought too, but had not placed the item in my collection.
This is also a nice check on your collection)
Finds Eric's proposal a tick (and unfortunately for the colors blind) green if the item is in your collection.
and the basket green, if you have it for sale

Perfect extension!
As the "declarant" of the eye and basket, I think it is stupid not to have thought about this at the time.

Rene, I don't need to know if someone else has an item in their collection. So then the asterisk can remain gray for me. Only if I have it myself, I like to color green (colorblind people do not suffer from that, because do they see it as red? And it still stands out).
If it is in my basket, I would like to color the basket, that is not the case better on than underlining. Find a nice color in which color blind people also see a difference (blue / yellow?).
I also think this is a great improvement. Helps to get a good overview.
Actually, the basket for your own shop is not correct. A basket is used to indicate when shopping whether you have ordered something, not whether I have it in my store. Does an icon for a shop exist?
And for your own collection some sort of card box or stamp album (probably not clear)? Difficult actually.

Hey Rene, why don't you use the icon you already use in the item view, there is a colored matrix. It seems to me that you should keep it the same. You also do this with "eye" and "basket".

I don't really care about how it is declared, but the fact that it is declared is pure profit.

I think there is a flaw in it. An item from the shop, but also in the collection, is only underlined if it is present in the shop, not in the collection. The asterisk is not yet properly displayed everywhere. Getting fixed this weekend.
There is a scenario that we had not thought about yet, and that is a certain item only in someone's private collection. The idea is that there would then be a gray asterisk.
However, if you are one of those people and you view a photo gallery, you naturally want to see that something is in your collection. At this point you will see a gray asterisk with a red line underneath, which we are going to make another yellow asterisk with a red line.

The asterisk is now correctly displayed. It has the following meanings:
- gray asterisk: this item is not in any public collection.
- yellow asterisk: this item is in a public collection

great new features!
I personally don't find it very interesting if a collection is in A collection, because this will almost always be the case. I find it more interesting to see clearly if an item is in the MY collection. I would rather opt for:
not in a collection: no asterisk
in a collection: gray asterisk
in my collection: yellow asterisk

@deblouw: In my opinion it is confusing if one of the icons deviates from the system with the underline.

That's true, so then those other icons (just the basket, right?) should also be deviated from :-)

We have also thought of that, but actually I don't think it's a powerful icon. What do others think of this in relation to the asterisk?
In any case, the icon in item view should be the same as in the photo gallery.

A basket therefore means that an item is for sale. This is very useful information for people who want to expand their collection.
