Waarom wordt een stripboek als zeldzaam aangeprijsd (35 euro) als het gewoon nog in de boekhandel voor een normale prijs te koop is (16,95)? In dit geval gaat het over een album van Gilles de Geus 'Spionage' HC Sylvester uitgaven. Dit is toch een vorm van verlakkerij of moet ik dit zakelijk (speel het spel) zien? Zo kan ik nog wel 10 albums opnoemen.
Why is a comic book sold as rare (35 euros) when it is still for sale in the bookstore for a normal price ( 16.95)? In this case it concerns an album by Gilles de Geus 'Espionage' HC Sylvester releases. Isn't this a form of smuggling or should I see this for business (play the game)? This way I can still name 10 albums.

Je moet ook nooit iets blind kopen. Er is internet, zoek het uit wat je op het oog heb, het kan altijd goedkoper. Voor videogames heb je een leuke site genaamd budgetgaming. En zo zal er meer zijn, zoekt en gij zult vinden ;-).

@menorelor: Als je dat exemplaar dus is bezit hebt, zou je dan ook even de afmetingen kunnen invullen bij dat exemplaar ? En als je dan toch bezig bent, wil je dan ook afbeeldingen van de voor- en achterkant plaatsen ? De huidige afbeelding vind ik wel van erg slechte kwaliteit (gekopieerd van internet ??).
Alvast bedankt voor de tip en de waarschuwing en het is dat ik geen Gilles de Geus meer spaar, anders had ik hem wel gekocht.
@menorelor: So if you have that copy in your possession, could you also fill in the dimensions for that copy? And while you're at it, do you also want to post images of the front and back? I think the current image is of very poor quality (copied from the internet ??).

Ik laat voor het eerst van mij horen en heb geen idee dat er ook afbeeldingen???? bij geplaatst worden. Vond het wel leuk om andere stripliefhebbers een tip te geven en ergerde mij aan de hoge prijzen en dan ook nog als 'zeer zeldzaam'.
Zo maken we elkaar als liefhebbers onnodig gek en daar is Catawiki veel te leuk voor.
I am hearing from me for the first time and have no idea that there are also images ???? to be placed. I liked giving a tip to other comic lovers and annoyed me at the high prices and then also as 'very rare'.
This is how we drive each other unnecessarily crazy as enthusiasts and Catawiki is way too much fun for.

Maar zou het niet kunnen zijn dat het hier toch om een andere druk gaat? Als ik op het ISBN zoek dan zie ik op bol.com namelijk ook een versie van dit album staan, maar hier wordt een datum maart 2013 genoemd. In combinatie met de opmerking bij 40091 dat de oplage in 2002 gedeeltelijk mislukt is, zou kunnen betekenen dat dit een andere druk betreft, of niet?
@ menorelor : If this is the same album as 40091 , then I agree that this is somewhat special in terms of pricing. But could it not be that this is a different pressure after all? When I search for the ISBN, I also see a version of this album on bol.com, but a date of March 2013 is mentioned here. In combination with the comment to 40091 that the circulation was in 2002 partially failed could mean this is another pressure, right?
In mijn album komt het ISBN nummer (90-5885-046-3) overeen met 40091. Ook staat er alleen het jaartal 2002 vermeld. Wel staat er 'Eerste herziene uitgave van Silvester'. Nergens wordt 2013 vermeld. En bij het bewuste item van AKO boekwinkels is het jaargetal niet ingevuld dus alles is mogelijk. Zo stond ik ook al een tijdje op de wachtlijst voor het zeer leuke boek van The Tjong-Khing 'Van strip tot sprookje', je wilt het lezen dus ga je na een tijdje toch verder zoeken, bleek dat het bij de Bruna boekhandel voor de normale prijs nog in de handel was. Dat zou je dan ook kunnen delen met de overige stripliefhebbers die op de wachtlijst staan maar dat is denk ik niet de bedoeling van Catawiki. Mijn waardering voor Catawiki is veel te groot om 'onder hun duiven te schieten' maar soms zie je iets en dat wil je dan delen als liefhebber van de negende kunst.
In my album the ISBN number (90-5885-046-3) corresponds to 40091 . Also only the year 2002 is mentioned. It does say 'First revised edition of Silvester'. 2013 is not mentioned anywhere. And the year number is not entered for the conscious item from AKO bookstores, so anything is possible. For example, I had been on the waiting list for a while for the very nice book by The Tjong-Khing 'From strip to fairytale', you want to read it so after a while you continue to search, it turned out that the Bruna bookshop for the normal price was still on the market. You could share that with the other comic lovers on the waiting list, but I don't think that's the intention of Catawiki. My appreciation for Catawiki is far too great to 'shoot under their pigeons', but sometimes you see something and you want to share that as a lover of the ninth art.
Ik denk dat je er gewoon vanuit moet gaan dat je de 40091 hebt, hoor. Silvester is altijd redelijk punctueel in de colofons.
