Items sold through the auction will remain in my collection. Am I supposed to remove it from there myself? Why isn't that done automatically? Sold is sold, then I no longer have the item.

I'm not sure, but it was also discussed recently: a shop has nothing to do with a collection at all . So if you sell something from your shop , it will still remain in your collection . It would be nice if you sell duplicate copies and then immediately delete everything if you sell those duplicates.

When sold at the auction, items remain in both the shop and the collection. They are not linked. This is also stated in the email when a lot is scheduled. The request to remove the items from other sales channels. And Morits makes a good point about the doubles.

Clear. So I can remove them from my collection myself.

@Paulcoret: there is nothing of this kind in the email you receive when a lot is approved and placed in the working stock for the auctions. I have never received an email that my lots were scheduled.

when the lot is planned it is always in the mail that you have to remove the lot from your own sales channel

The idea is that you only have an item in one place.

If you sell it, you no longer collect it, and you no longer seek the item. And in the other direction too.

Therefore, you can easily move it from one to another. It also doesn't magically disappear from your wish list when you add it to your collection. (But one click will move it from your wishlist to your collection.)

If you create a new item to sell, while that item is in your collection, you will of course create duplicates.

Nevertheless, this story does not go entirely in the direction of the auction.

@JozefK

The intention is that you only have an item in one place

When you sell it, you collect it no longer, and you are no longer looking for the item. And in the other direction too.

huh ???? have you ever heard of duplicates that you can sell?

Edit: the 2nd quote was included.

Yes, but then you have two items.

I am looking for an item in better condition than I am now offering for sale, according to your reasoning that would not be possible, because

If you sell it, you will not collect it anymore, and you are no longer looking for the item. And in the other direction too.

Nope, no emails stating that I have to remove the items I had at the auction from my collection (I have now done this).

I work with the program Mailwasher, which does not allow I can see what is on the server and I can read all my email there and indicate which emails should or should not be downloaded. The emails that I do not download to my inbox remain in Mailwasher in the recycle bin, in case I still want to download an email afterwards.

Since 2006 I have saved all the emails I have in my Microsoft Outlook. and they are grouped per year in separate folders. This in connection with the conducting of a national sheep studbook in which I often have to go back to previously sent emails from breeders.

I'm looking for an item in better condition than I'm currently offering for sale, so according to your reasoning that wouldn't be possible, because

You are not with Morits.

THAT item (with that tear) you sell. THAT item (with that tear) is therefore no longer in your collection. THAT item (with that tear = reasonable condition) is therefore no longer in your wish list.

ANOTHER item (coincidentally with the same title) you are still looking for, in good condition. ANOTHER item (coincidentally with the same title but in a different condition) can still end up in your collection, and if you ever get tired of it, also in your shop.

So two different items, with the same title (but different state in this case).
