From an inheritance I obtained mineral / gemstone items that I don't know how to use. I mean: I don't know what the names are and whether they have enough value to sell here on Catawiki through my shop or auction or whether it is just marketplace stuff.

You can tell me right away if it is junk or not. In any case, I don't need them. From my head I think those flat items are all between 8 and 10cm in diameter.

Thank you in advance.

Oh yes, that bowl also contains (I think) ordinary blue beads , but I'm not sure.

I don't think it is the intention to enter that in the catalog.

PS six mats and some decorative pebbles, nice for the average tourist to check out. to put the holiday on the table to stay in the holiday mood for a while. Or to give it as a present to someone when they return from your holiday, who then sighs in receiving it and pretends to be very happy with it (and afterwards wonders where to put the mess and hopes that it will not be notice that it has been included in the weekly collection for a long time).

@JozefK, I just put it in the catalog like that to show what it was and you really don't have to answer that condescendingly. I asked an honest question because I don't know anything about that stuff and so a simple answer 'it's worth nothing' could have been enough.

As a layman, I can't seem to see the difference between these 3135137 and 'my' number 5 for example. Hence my question before I would throw away something that might have been interesting for someone.

At the time when I had to empty my aunt's house, I threw away, for example, lots of old postcards, one of which I now have quite a few in the catalog. If I had kept it then, I might have made someone happy with it.

layman or no layman, a catalog item may not be entered like this. Each item must be separately, this should be rejected by the administrator, but I don't know if there is an administrator for this section.

Nothing prevents you from entering everything separately, whether it is a souvenir is or not. Nor whether it has value or not. Finally, there are also comics in the section Comics that have zero point zero value ...

@Morits, the item was not intended to remain in the catalog this way. If they had turned out to be really interesting, I would have entered them separately. I have since removed the item from the catalog.

@Tsjip

simply entering, is after all an item that fits in the category, valuable or not ... it's about prevention, no more no less. Everything is interesting ...

I have since removed the item from the catalog.

No, you don't have that . :-)

Users cannot delete items from the catalog at all, an administrator must be involved.

Hello Tsjip

It has no value, those slices are about 1, - each, we have been on holiday to Idar Oberstein for about 5 years in a row.
If you walk through the shopping streets there you have nothing but gem shops selling masses of that stuff to the tourists there
Discs, necklaces, figurines, pebbles and much more.
Our kids collected it when they were little and passed it on to their kids .
If you have children in the family I would give it to them for some reason it has an appeal to children.
must be because of the color and the shimmer.

Thank you @Jilles, that was a clear and normal answer to my normal question. I have already put the stuff on Marktplaats, maybe I can make someone's children happy with it.

I did not know that I cannot delete anything from the catalog. Is there also a reason why we cannot do that ourselves? Just like deleting photos once entered, I didn't notice that either. Slowly I am learning more and more how it works here.
