Since the end of last week, we have been distributing the first issue of Catawiki Magazine as an introduction.

I am curious about your feedback on the content of the magazine. Which articles are fun, what could be improved and what are you missing. In addition, all tips for the next issue are very welcome.

I have already received the following feedback:

- We need more women besides Aaf!

Rightful point. During the making of the first song we didn't realize that the male / female balance has turned to one side. We are going to pay more attention to that. Send me a OJ if you know (or are) a known or unknown female collector you would like to read an interview about in our magazine.

- I'm missing a comic!

Let's think about it.

- The top could be a bit thicker!

That is also our intention.

- Missing a crossword puzzle!

We're not going to do it :-)

An interview with a different cartoonist every time seems fun to read

you could also do stamp and plate cover designers

And banknotes, puzzles, coins, football logo (Reint Rozema) etc. to prevent the magazine from being too comic-oriented.

Rubric with "my best collectible" or something similar. Catawiki member describes what is most beautiful in the collection for him / her. With a photo if necessary.

Perhaps a suggestion to take a detailed look at a section in each magazine. So that no one feels passed.

I received this sheet, even though I have not registered for anything. I don't want to get this magazine in the future and I don't want to pay for it at all. Since I don't see anywhere to unsubscribe, I try here. Please do not send new numbers to my address. How did you get my address by the way?

@ René: is it an idea to state more clearly everywhere that number 1 is not part of the subscription? That that only starts with number 2?

You can pass this on to info@catawiki.nl. Maybe you bought or sold something through the auction?

You can sell your copy to Disney for 10 euros. It is there to jump;)

@rve That was discussed extensively in a previous topic. my advice.

René I want the magazine, think it is quite good and will try it for a year. But indeed more women speak about their collection ( not me ...)

Als verzamelaar met specialisatie  Toegepaste kunst , Design en Curiosa zouden. verzamel boekbesprekingen in het magazine een welkome aanvulling kunnen zijn. 
Ik heb inmiddels een hele bibliotheek, maar ik ben altijd op zoek naar nieuwe aanwinsten om mijn kennis te vergroten.

Wellicht is dit ook iets wat een eigen plaats zou kunnen krijgen op de website?

As a collector with a specialization in Applied Art, Design and Curiosa. collect book reviews in the magazine can be a welcome addition.

You could let administrators speak about their section to manage. What it takes to be an administrator, what the crazy things are that an administrator goes through and maybe an explanation about his or her section.

It is also nice to let CataWiki employees have their say in a Category such as Introductions ...

Furthermore, I remain curious as to when my copy will arrive in the letterbox. I checked my address again on my profile, but it is correct. Is there something wrong with the delivery?

Ik weet niet of er al naar de betrokken personen zelf gereageerd is, maar mocht dat nou nog niet gebeurd zijn dan zou het Catawiki sieren om een reactie te geven op de opmerkingen van hanened en DisneyMeentwijc die wél graag een magazine zouden ontvangen, maar er nog geen één hebben gehad. ;-)

I don't know if the people involved have already responded, but if that hasn't happened yet, Catawiki would be honored to respond to the comments made by hanened and DisneyMeentwijc , who would like to receive a magazine, but there are still haven't had one. ;-)

@vasperen: both from René and Ted, the catalog manager had a response and the magazine is now definitely in my letterbox. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to look in my letterbox this weekend (I am not at home). But tonight I really have a nice Santa Claus gift in my letterbox :) !!

The next edition will I get from Santa Claus? ? ;)

@ DisneyMeentwijc : Well, that's great then, it's a very nice magazine. :-)

Still, I find it very confusing that questions on the forum are regularly answered via a private email, so that the forum readers read along with the start, but do not see the outcome. Why is that? Why don't we find out why several people did not have their magazine?
I have also received questions about this myself and asked the relevant user to keep an eye on the forum topic.

If people have not received their magazine, there could be two things going on:

1. something went wrong with the shipment: report this via info at catawiki.nl and we will send it again.

2. a subscription has been taken in recent weeks: we have saved those addresses and they will be sealed by an external party with an address sticker and sent to them next week. Due to the large numbers, it was not possible for us to always send them directly ourselves.

If someone takes out a subscription now, this will start at number 2.

3. the company that arranges delivery for Catawiki (Magazine) does not deliver outside the Netherlands and Belgium.

@baron,

Correct and therefore you cannot enter an address outside NL and BE. But we can certainly send you one as an administrator. Just send me your address.
