Op 20 oktober organiseert “De Vlaamse Onafhankelijke Stripgilde” i.s.m. “Catawiki” en “F.A.C.T.S.” via de veilingsite Catawiki een cameo-veiling waarin de hoogste bieder een rol wint in een strip of een publicatie. De publicatie zal gebeuren in 2014. De winnaar zorgt voor een recente pasfoto.
De complete opbrengst zal naar het Kinderkankerfonds gaan.
Met uw hulp kan het kinderkankerfonds volgende initiatieven verder blijven steunen:
Hulp voor gezinnen van kinderen en jongeren met kanker.
Ondersteuning van de kinderkankerafdeling van het UZ Gent.
Gespecialiseerde thuiszorg voor ernstig zieke kinderen (Koester).
Opvang van broers en zussen tijdens de bezoekuren (deLIEving).
Steun aan wetenschappelijk onderzoek.
Activiteiten voor kinderen en jongeren met kanker en voor hun ouders, grootouders, broers en zussen.

De publicatie in De Kiekeboes zal pas gebeuren in 2015 omdat alle verhalen voor 2014 al klaar zijn.
Dit initiatief zal gepromoot worden op 19 en 20 oktober 2013 op F.A.C.T.S. met een grote infostand. Verschillende tekenaars zullen dan hun strips komen signeren.
On October 20, “The Flemish Independent Comic Strip Guild” is organizing in collaboration with "Catawiki" and "F.A.C.T.S." via the auction site Catawiki a cameo auction in which the highest bidder wins a role in a comic or a publication. The publication will take place in 2014. The winner will provide a recent passport photo.
The entire proceeds will go to the Children's Cancer Fund.
With your help, the Children's Cancer Fund can continue to support the following initiatives:
Help for families of children and young people with cancer.
Support for the pediatric cancer department of UZ Gent.
Specialized home care for seriously ill children (Koester).
Care for brothers and sisters during visiting hours (deLIEving).
Support to scientific research.
Activities for children and young people with cancer and for their parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters.
