For some time now, the links in the Catabike e-mails have been redirected

(Redirect) to obscure URLs.

I can just access the site directly in the browser.

The problem appears to only occur with links in the Catawiki e-mail.

No similar complaints are known.

Isn't this a virus on your own PC?

Maybe you can send us a message with examples?

What I do have is that I am not directly directed to the link mentioned in the email. I'll get there, but you'll get a redirect first. Is that the intention (for advertising reasons?).

I also had once (a while ago and also discussed in the forum) that you were directed to sites other than CataWikik. That happened then with every link you clicked and not only within CataWiki. The problem was resolved when I cleared the browser's cache, ran an antivirus program on it and then restarted. Then there was a malware program in the browser.

Cache cleared,

Running Avast, nothing found.

Spybot: nothing found.

Malwarebytes: nothing found.

TDSS killer: nothing found.

-------------

The auctions have ended, so the links are no longer active (I can also no longer open via the Google search bar).

--------------------------

The problem really only occurs within Catawiki, links in emails from other senders work well (although I don't get to a sub-page there first.

--------- -------------

I will wait for the e-mails about new auctions, and then look further.

Then I can also use screenshots to preview In any case, I can also see everything via the homepage, but still ...

Here are the new announcements for today, March 15:

I click on the e-mail about the book auction, and then I come here:

This is still an email!

The link (and all other links in the Catawiki emails lead to this type of URL:

That URL does not open a follow-up page.

Do I use this option:

Then I go to the page:

there is this link again:

But now it points to the correct URL:

e-mail)

And I get where I want to be.

The problem is in the email that Catabike sends, the link is not working properly.

(Problem with the mail server? Or a mistake in the script?

Because the online version contains the same link, and it works well directly in the browser.

Janno, I think there is something wrong with posting your links.

The only link I can half read is that you report under the text correct url. But I think it ends wrong too, because it ends with utm_medium =. I think there should be the text e-mail on the next line, but it is not in the link.

Can you copy the link addresses and then on the chain with your message and paste the link there in. If you are typing the message on an ipad or iphone, just paste the link in the message,

I have saved the case as a Word document.

Please send it to me.

Let's hear it.
