I would like to see the beer type Quadrupel added to the list of beer types in the beer labels section.

Hopefully there will also be the possibility to introduce a second beer type. This benefits the further selection of the beers.

Quadruple has been added to the collection area "type".

To expand the possibility for a second type, it is best to approach Arco and explain what you have in mind. Perhaps this is one of the improvements he can make without a programmer.

Thank you Ted for the quick response. Arco knows the wishes, but we have to wait and see what is possible ...

The problem is that fields with multiple values can automatically expire on the export list in Excel.

It is already possible to add an extra section, so that a second type of beer can be added. Possibly under a modified name so that there are no problems with exporting in excel.

This benefits the classification of the beer labels because very large groups are now being created, such as abbey beers and Trappist beers, which can be divided into blond, double and triple beers. The same applies to the non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beers, which can be divided into ipas, porters, ales, etc.

As long as this program cannot be solved technically, there may be a workable alternative.
By putting the subdivision in square brackets behind the main type, examples:

  • Abbey beer
  • Abbey beer [Blond]
  • Abbey beer [Dubbel]
  • Abbey beer [Tripel]
  • Low in alcohol
  • Low in alcohol [IPA]
  • Low in alcohol [Porter]
  • etc.
