Dear Catawikiers,

Is it allowed to put my collection of erotic / sex / porn DVDs for sale in my shop? I bought these DVDs in a batch and I don't want them myself. If so, are there any rules such as front and back photography? Do I also have to add them in the catalog?

Greetings,

Danyal Ozguzel

We have chosen not to include porn DVDs in the DVD category for several reasons. So they cannot be added to the catalog.

Then CataWiki is not for all collectors!

This question/wish has been going on for a long time and it is basically about the fact that no good filter can be put on it. The strange thing is that if you search well, there are quite a few erotic or erotic-tinted items in CataWiki. And if we count soft porn as porn too, then this and this is that too.

It was already mentioned in several forums. See also suggestions and DVD general

I hope the filter comes soon, because then, for example, all those erotic magazines can also be placed under it.

The point is and remains who determines and approves what should and what should not be filtered.

DisneyMeentwijc,

Point is and remains who decides and approves what should and what should not be covered by the filter.

It really doesn't seem difficult to make a defintion of '' what is porn (graphic) '', very easy even.

Then CataWiki is not for all collectors!

Imagine DisneyMany, it is allowed, suppose ... then half the world can no longer on Catawiki (Censorship filter by the relevant country or a porn filter installed by the boss or parents, I get it well and the moment you say yes to porn, what comes animal porn ?, Nazi memorbilia ???

I will not report the link here, but just as quickly found magazines that look a lot like pornography and can still be in it: Swank, Escapade, Adam, Tuk and so on. Is it allowed there?

And as for Nazi momorabilia, animal porn or child porn (if one wants to collect such nasty things), I think that is prohibited by law. And I think the CataWiki conditions also state that one cannot post criminal material.

And the porn filter only filters out the porn pages, not the entire domain?

I just saw again that an erotic (pornographic) magazine was added to the CataWiki Magazine Catalog.

Why is it allowed with magazines and not with DVDs?

Pornographic images are not allowed on all of Catawiki, unless they are art. Eroticism is allowed. The boundary between the two is sometimes thin, but we usually figure it out after intensive study. (;-)

I just saw again that a erotic (pornographic ) sheet to the CataWiki Magazine Catalog has been added.

With this importer I have already had regular mail traffic under my sub-management, namely erotic magazines also several already rejected. now a request to place the photos straight are placed partially lying down

the person is very resourceful he places them eg now under 100% amateur so that they no longer fall under erotic magazines and I can no longer reach them he knows very well what is allowed and has not already been pointed out a few times so now something for another administrator who can also delete non-erotic magazines.
