In Catawiki you can turn your collection into a Widget, but nowhere is it told or explained what it is, I am afraid that if I press the button, my collection that has been entered with difficulty will destroy.

Can anyone give a brief explanation ??

According to Wikipedia it is a 'thingy' or 'desktop application' but I can't do anything with that ;-)

You can simply press it.

You get a code that you can place in your website, and that shows part of your collection in a kind of banner. And you can also use it with hyves, or so it says.

So you can't do much with it, I once tried to put it on a forum as a kind of signature, but that didn't work.

@ Sinbad, our help could be a bit better. We are going to work on it. Good luck with your widget!

Now that I ask questions about your 'own collection'

Is there a possibility that you can see at a glance whether the picture for an item from your collection is your own picture or 1 from the Catawiki database?

I would find this useful because especially with canceled stamps your own stamp is of course different from one from the database.

If you know that it is your own picture, you can quickly see during 'exchange or buy' whether the item you have offered is better or uglier than your own item.

Now I have to click open the image to see if it is my own photo or one from the Catawiki database.

Wouldn't there be some sort of icon next to your item that indicates that it is your own image or one of the database?

I now see that you don't get the link "Create Widget" in the main or sub-section, but only when you select a sale item in your shop. One problem is that you cannot determine which items are shown in the widget. I cannot find out on the basis of which criteria items are selected.
