I have recently become a partial manager of Indochina (because that suits Vietnam).

While reviewing, I just get stuck on the next entry

http://www.catawiki.nl/catalogus/postzegels/landen-gebieds/indochina/1251515-vrede-en-handel-type-sage

It was entered on 11-7-2010 by Joep1950 and changed on 22-12-2010 by Tapir (rightly) now with the (Correct) toothed image.

However, the image of the first imperforated version of Joep1950 fascinates me enormously because as far as I know there is no imperforated version (you can see the relevant image if you look at the history).

Asked Postmaster for help, but that didn't come out either

I'm worrying myself... was it cut out of a carnet or postal stationery?

Or is it a proof?

Is there someone specialized in France who might be able to help me stop worrying?

Always fun, these kinds of games.
Apart from the perforation, they are also not the same images.
Indo Chine is in different places. (Or was this stamped loose at the time?)

Doctor Panadol

@ Arco,

Yes the stamps were the same for all French colonies and the name of the colony was printed on it later so the name Indo Chine can shift a bit.

In a Michel catolgus I found this:

"Von fell Marken der französischen Kolonien sind zur Vorlage serving Musterstücke (then follows a symbol of toothless) im Handel. Ausserdem sog. Épreuves de luxe (Sonderabzüge auf Luxus papers in Blockform), which were not cataloged here."

I don't know if you're into this but it seemed like something.

@ Vlendert,

Thanks for thinking along.

But as far as I know (and I must honestly say that I really am not a specialist in this), they only came out well (so after 1907) after the colonies really got their own stamps (so not when the colony name was printed on it later).

And the stamp in question has been used (canceled).

I think it was cut from a postal stationery, but I don't know if the stamp in question was ever printed on postal items.

Anyone familiar with French postal stationery who knows this?
