I have a shortcut from my Catawiki shop on the desktop, if I click it, I get the message "Catawiki is temporarily overloaded" in the last few days? Now I pinned the same link to the taskbar and it does it right? Does anyone suffer from that too? Does anyone know how I can fix that?

Try clearing your cache first. Usually works best.

Clear cache in Internet explorer 10 and 11

  1. Click tools icon (blue / gray gear)
  2. Click on Safety, this option is also available in the 'command bar'
  3. Click Delete Browsing History
  4. Select Temporary internet files and Website files.
  5. Click Delete.

Did you also replace the shortcut?

When I replace the shortcuts it stays the same, when I move it to the taskbar it works fine.

I have a few more icons on the desktop with regard to stamps, so they were always neatly grouped together. But that it works in the most important of course.

So I'll just leave it in the taskbar.

Thank you for your input.

Now I have the icon back on the desktop and when I click on it, I enter the Catawiki stamp catalog. Only when I click on "my shop" will there be a message that it is overloaded?

So I also have Windows 10 "Microsoft Edge" when I enter my shop in Microsoft Edge, I can click the three dots at the top right ... so not three dots vertically but in Microsoft Edge they are horizontal. When I click on those dots, a screen appears where I can click "attach this page to the taskbar", then it will be placed at the bottom of my screen in the taskbar and everything works fine ...

If you don't have Microsoft Edge there might be another way, but at least attaching it to the taskbar helped me.

I am not a computer expert myself but I found this on the internet ...

Give it a try and some more Googling ... good luck!

It must be an issue that Catawiki can no longer cope with the demand and is now investing the received American money in all kinds of auctions because they are the most important to them .. apparently

TIP: I can tell you how my computer expert solved this. Go to PC cleanup popularly called the eraser and your entire cash memory is empty. and everything works again.

The intention is not that I have to do that every 5 minutes, we can go back to pencil and paper

pencil is still pencil, but yes that has nothing to do with it. Catawiki normally performs very well and is very clear, but the point now is that they must ensure that they do not forget the collector and that auctions will predominate.

If I log in via Google Chrome and I go straight to my shop, I get to see the old layout for a moment and then it switches to a new layout - From my shop to the catalog is still possible, but if I want to go back to my shop I get to see that the system is overloaded - I log in via Internet Explorer I get to see the old layout of my shop and I can easily jump to the catalog and back again - Are there after the login maybe 2 catawiki versions active colliding with each other?

Could the overload - which I regularly suffer from - could be caused by the uploading of auction information by Catawiki at certain times, sometimes uploading many photos? Could this temporarily block other functions?

Very implausible. Apart from a few minor things, the sites have been running independently of each other for over a year.

If a website has performance problems, 9 out of 10 times not applying updates, not patching is the cause. I don't know if windows10 has already been switched. When moving to Windows10 servers, not all applications are and will not be compatible. If windows7 is still on the air, support from Microsoft will end on January 14th. This experience is very recent with my employer.
