Recently, the new area "Serbia and Montenegro" was created.

As already mentioned in the forum Stamps in general, section "Report duplicates here", the stamps with the inscription " Srbija i Crna Gora" (Serbia and Montenegro) were unfortunately scattered among the Catawiki catalogs of Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro.

The area previously existed under the name of "Federal Republic of Yugoslavia" from 1992 to 2003.

In 2003 the area was named "Serbia and Montenegro" until Montenegro became independent in 2006 and the remaining part became "Serbia".

For convenience, all items named "Srbija i Crna Gora" were placed in the new area.

Duplicates will be eliminated as soon as possible.

Finally: bad news for the users of the Michel catalogue: this catalog has not taken into account the new area and the items from 2003 to 2006 remain with Michel under the area Yugoslavia.

From now on you will have to look for the Michel numbers from 3114 to 3342 in this new Catawiki catalog "Serbia and Montenegro".

The widely used catalogs Yvert & Tellier and Stanley Gibbons, on the other hand, have adapted.
