Soms kom ik eens wat tegen in de catalogus, dat mijn verbazing wekt. Meestal ga ik snel terug naar Indonesië, maar deze wil ik jullie niet onthouden. Het gaat om item 1260797. Volgens de invoerder gaat het om origineel maakwerk van de kunstenaar, het (voor)ontwerp van de beverzegels. Een uniek kunstwerk.
Het heeft als gebruikstype frankeer meegekregen. Op zich had ik dat niet verwacht, want wie plakt er nu een kunstwerk op een brief. Ik ging ervan uit dat het gebruikstype niet klopte, maar ik had het mis. Want er is iemand die een gestempeld exemplaar in zijn of haar verzameling heeft. Dubbel opmerkelijk, want er zijn nog twee verzamelaars die dit unieke exemplaar in hun bezit hebben. Drie verzamelaars in de postzegelrubriek voor iets dat geen postzegel is en waarvan er volgens de beschrijving maar 1 exemplaar van bestaat. Volgens mij klopt er hier iets niet. (:-)

According to the importer, this concerns the artist's original work, the (preliminary) design of the beaver stamps. A unique work of art.
It has been given postage as a usage type. In itself I would not have expected that, because who is gluing a work of art to a letter? I assumed the usage type was wrong, but I was wrong. Because there is someone who has a stamped copy in his or her collection. Doubly remarkable, because there are two more collectors who have this unique copy in their possession. Three collectors in the stamp section for something that is not a stamp and of which only 1 copy exists according to the description. I think something is wrong here. (:-)

Maar omdat het geen postzegel is, maar het ontwerp ervoor, moet het dan niet bij kunst. De originele omslag van een boek komt toch ook niet bij boeken terecht

Het is slechts 1 van de vele 10.000den vervuilende kolderieke Items die bij postzegels staan, (Ik schat dat er meer dan 50.000 items (10%) in de postzegelcatalogus staan die daar niet thuishoren, een beheerder heeft hier een levenstaak aan) na jaren is nog steeds alles wat ook maar in de verte tegen Fillatelie aanschuurt ook meteen een postzegel :), terwijl de strakke definitie van de postzegel toch vrij duidelijk is en weinig ruimte overlaat voor afwijkende invulling van die definitie, kun je in de Catawiki Postzegel Catalogus de meest bizare prullaria kwijt
