Does anyone know if there is an overview (preferably online) of postal rates in the past century?

I have a reply card that says "Here a 12 cent stamp" and I am trying to find out from what period it should be.

(I had hoped that I could just select all 12 cent stamps in the Netherlands,
but a choice for the face value is still not possible in this section.
That seems like a pretty essential feature to me, but maybe stamp collectors
find it completely unnecessary?)

I think you should search around 1953.

For example: 273489

Unfortunately no online source for postal rates has been found over the years.
The Handboek Postwaarden Nederland might be able to provide a definitive answer, but I am not there sure.

Found this from another source:
Official Publication PTT and Official Publication PTT .

So I can now accurately date it between May 1, 1966 and February 1, 1967.

I happened to take a picture of Postal Rate Domestic, (found it in a book ± 1930s) but my problem is I take more pictures than I can put on CW so I still have to dig through my files and look for that picture when I have it, I will report again.

@fazerco: The first postcard is from 1967 and you can see that by the stamp and the second postcard is from 1965 and you can see that by the card number. Cards used to be numbered (I don't know if that's still the case) and the last 2 digits are of the year. This card from Veere has number 1165 and was therefore issued in 1965.

Whether the stamps of Boekenmagazijn are from that period, you cannot find out from these postcards. At least they were used then. The CataWiki Catalog states that the stamp is from 1953.

@Boekenmagazijn: Those are just announcements of the new postal rates, but I think you can also combine stamps to arrive at an amount and the stamps are therefore older. (1953 according to the Catalog).

It is already suggested by HPN that indeed publishes a postal rate overview!

If a subscription to HPN is too expensive, a visit to the Bondsbibliothek in Baarn will certainly pay off.

But, yes everything has to be on-line for nothing ..... and then you are dependent on the tedious work of thousands of WIKI plodders :)
