Can anyone tell me if a web stamp also belongs in a stamp collection.

What do I have to imagine from a webstamp, is that a digital stamp? A philatelic bitcoin?

Dear Badgirl,

I would include this as the 'personal stamp' usage type unless someone has a better suggestion. Personally, however, I don't think this is a 'stamp' to collect, so I would prefer 'not to include it in the catalog'.

As an administrator , you certainly think that everything that is collected should be given a place in the catalog, don't you?

Indeed, so consciously add the additions 'personal' and 'self' ...

Wilfredb

Personal stamps have already acquired a place in the catawiki.

So your opinion has little value for the forum. Certainly as a manager, a cautious statement would be in order.

Catawiki is a catalog of all kinds of articles. So I don't understand your statement.

Sincerely,

A collector of personal stamps

bad girl

Indeed in my opinion they should belong under the "personal stamps". Rob gives a nice description. Cool.

Micho,

I honestly don't think your response is relevant. I have given a clear answer to the question asked, and I have given my personal opinion - something that is now being 'punished' again ... that will teach me to try to be helpful.

@Micho

That is then the next administrator to be punished.

There are indeed few administrators left who want to respond.

N.a.v. the "discussion" about my question about webstamps:

The question was about webstamps, but the last few responses had nothing to do with my question. So it does not add anything to the topic, so continue discussing with your own topic .....

But as an administrator you certainly think that everything that is collected should be able to be placed in the catalog, don't you?

That is certainly our goal.

Webstamps are just like postage stamps, they just look a bit slicker. We include Franking stamp in the section other . It is best to place the web stamps in this section for the time being.

Hi Badgirl,

I agree with Ted, a Webstamp or digital stamp is a postage label. Introduced in the Netherlands at the end of the nineties by PTT and Dymo labelwriters. After a long struggle in the market (users were very hesitant in the beginning), it has taken off in recent years. The labels are different from the franking strips that are printed by the (now) TNT at the counter, but the setup is the same.

I would also advise you to include them with the franking stamps. I hope to be able to supplement the 'franking strips' in the near future.

Kind regards,

Ronald
