I often come across stamps in the catalog of Italy that are indicated with "marca da bollo" in Italian. Indications such as "Tassa di Bollo,' Riscontro" also occur. These are official revenue stamps that have been used in Italy since 1863 as payment for the validation of official acts and public documents (for example, notarial deeds, declarations, passports, etc.). In my opinion, they are not stamps and do not belong in the stamp catalog. What do we think of this together?

Examples

3769335 and 3431157

They look like stamps anyway! Maybe under the name Cinderella's? The CataWiki Catalog includes everything in its Catalog, it is only intended to be easy to find. If I had such a stamp, I would first look at (post) stamps.

It turns out that this has been discussed before on this forum. On July 11, 2012 I read that these types of stamps belong in the section Other / objects / fiscal stamps

But revenue stamps belong under securities:

Home & gt; Catalog & gt; Securities & gt; Issuing bodies & gt; Tax Netherlands & gt;
Tax stamp
