hallo,

I had a question about stamps that my grandfather gave me about death. most of the stamps I have already thrown in the garbage but these are nevertheless interesting

one of the stamp books is completely full of stamps from the second world war and I thought I could find those stamps here ( value) but that is not the case, someone may know where this is possible.

these are stamps with and without a stamp, many with swastikas but also with hitler looking to the left.

I don't get those stamps clear enough on the photo, otherwise I would have added a picture.

so if someone knows where I can find the value it would be great.

Garbage bin thrown? that man spent 80 years trying to get them together and before you know what the value of this was.

for the rest you have to be a little clearer, which country is mentioned?

or what is written on the stamps?

you can also type Hitler above at "Search in Catalog"

The appreciation of his Grandpas and our all-loved hobby has gone down to an almost barbaric level for Bart :)

I am shocked ... just hug my stamps

No my sweet one-sided sticky and toothed kids, Daddy would never do such a cruel thing :)

yes, the youth of today, if you also threw Hitler away, I think he would spontaneously look to the right.

I also think you threw out the wrong stamps.

Indeed typical and illustrative that only Uncle Adolf & amp; his swastikas are preserved.

Bart certainly leaves a unique and surprising impression on the forum.

Bart the chance that the Adolf and Swastika stamps were the least valuable in the The collection of your grandfather is certainly present.

Once I had a man who arrived with at least 50 1st and 2nd stamps from the Netherlands with the cheerful announcement that he had just taken them off / from the cut envelopes and cards so I didn't have to :)

:o :o :o

You're not going to throw away stamps, are you?

Well, on the other hand, the fewer stamps in circulation, the more the remaining ones become worth

But it still hurts to read that those sweet little stamps are just thrown away.

And Adolfje will look happy in his grave that his stamps are well taken care of xD

Ohh is it buried instead of burnt to ashes with diesel?

If you also tell us where he is buried, we can sell the documentation-movie rights to Discovery Channel :)

Gawd

Went to have a look, but they've pulverized him to ashes

Well, I'll add it then:

And Adolfje will happily look down from above (assume from hell) that his stamps are well taken care of xD

Have a look

Where did you go and see? If you tell me, I will tell Discovery Chanel. (Any demonstrable ash particles found to be linked to Adolf also have an economic value in this)

Send the location to me via Catawiki-mail, because if you do it via the forum Aart will probably go with let's go :)

And we divide any proceeds 50/50 Okay? :)

but there is always hope.

maybe Bart72 is in the cafe

Yes Elizabeth why do you have to slack old whore in the cafe?

It's just the umpteenth: I just became a member of Catawiki for a while and ask the nerds there whether I've become a millionaire with my grandfather's collection because I'm too lazy to look at them in the catalog let alone why I have the stamp- nerds if they do it for me for free while the stamp association in the village asks 50 euros for an appraisal :) Right?

Maybe Aart and I, just like the other advanced ones on CW, should just ignore the following new ''stamps don't interest me but see if I've become rich with my attic find but don't thank you for being a knowledgeable member'' and give them their taking money to the stamp dealer who is paid for his knowledge, which is still more expensive than ''thanks for your effort to give an unknown free independent advice/valuation''

In the cafe? No, he is now rooting in the rubbish heap at the municipal sanitation to find his stamps.

Hi folks,

Well if Bart doesn't respond I will. I got a bit of the same from my grandmother, a very large collection of old stamps. From ned-indie, indonesian, surinamese and plain dutch stamps. She fled from Indonesia to the Netherlands, and then kept in touch with family friends etc. Now I just started looking up and viewing the (huge bulge) stamps (at least 1000 pieces) and came across a few from the Second World War . It says: The Netherlands, Consular Service, and they have 1 guilder and 2.5 guilder. What are these seals? They are also very small, approx. 1 cm by 1.5 cm. I also have a German yellow stamp on the same envelope with '' Gebuhrenfrei '' on it, as well as a Hamburg stamp with matching swastika underneath. I can google what I want but they are just nowhere to be found. Help;)

I see no further answer to the 'left-looking' Hitler. Isn't it in the catalog either?
