Would you like to help fill in the Krause-Mishler numbers? More than 4000 have already been filled, but there are of course many more coins.

A special field has been created for KM numbering. All KM numbers entered in "Catalog Number" have been moved to that field.

The old "Catalog number" field will be used for Schulman numbers. To this end, the field will probably be renamed soon.

The intention is that we will soon be able to search and filter on these numbers, so if you want to help fill in the form: please !!

Why would you include KM or KM # in the input field if it is already in the description of that field? Are there urgent reasons for this?

sometimes Y (Yeoman) or C (Craig) numbers are used in Krause. Strictly speaking, this would not be a KM number, although they are used as such in Krause. For that it would be useful to add the letter, in my opinion.

The addition of letters preceding a number makes searching for that number more difficult.

Perfect that this field is there, but as asked above: how do we fill this?

Someone has to take the plunge and say this is how we do it!

I also wondered if this would be duplicate and why?

Well, as said before, not every coin has a KM number. Sometimes in Krause Y (Yeoman) or C (Craig) numbers are used. I don't know to what extent this limits the search function. I think that also depends on how the search function works. I don't really care how, as long as there is an unambiguous decision to be made, otherwise it will become a mishmash.

I see that now mostly "KM # 123" is used.

Maybe keep this up? Maybe an administrator wants to make a decision on this, or is it just not that important?

@Chilian

Good plan, it all remains unanimous.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could also see the numbers in the search results?

Does anyone know the KM number of the 20 Euro cent 2007 F Germany Old Map? Then I can add it. Now it says #KM 255, but I think that's the regular one.

Thank you. Henri
