It seems like a cut job to me. In the image the bottom is a bit narrower than the top. It also looks like there is still a piece of envelope attached to the seal.
Whether it is a duplicate is more difficult to determine from the image. There have been many different editions, which differ in watermark and perforation. The print of 1874 was without watermark, the one of 1881 with watermark Kr. Both prints have a colored face value, as on the stamp shown. From 1888 onwards the value figures are black. The postmark is from October 16, 1895.

The stamp is serrated on 4 sides but damaged (cut perforation on the right) and is on a paper remnant.
