First Happy New Year.
To send 3 kg to an address within Belgium I charge €8
One buyer thinks this is exaggerated and even claims that he receives parcels from the Netherlands, which are cheaper

I see that you only send with Mondial Relay (relay?). As a buyer I know that the ones on Vinted are very cheap, but I don't know all their rates.

On the other hand, the buyer would have been warned if he had read the "About this seller" information.

Within Belgium you pay €6 for 3Kg (Bpost charges €6.95)
what I still find unfair: buyer can give negative feedback, but seller cannot

PS I am bidding on Catawiki and a Dutch person is asking €20 to Belgium for 3 kg. I asked him if he didn't want to send with Mondial (€8), but he refused

The buyer doesn't lie. Ask him which shipper you should use.

Size and weight also play a role, of course.
bpost: package up to 5 kg to collection point = 5.05 / to address = 6.95.
In both cases, shipping label created online.
If you buy the shipping label at the post office itself = 8.10
I understand you usually ship with Mondial Relay.
I'll check their site for rates up to 3 kg = 3.75.
But usually delivery takes a little longer.
And as with any shipping company, ' irregularities ' also happen there.
Just look at Mondial Relay and TrustPilot.

From the story I understand that you charge 2 Euro for the packaging. You might consider dropping those fees. 3 kg of trade is not nothing.

what I still find unfair: buyer can give negative feedback, but seller cannot

Yes, very unfair, but you already have more than 1300 transactions and a percentage of 99.5%, so what are you worried about?

"The buyer is not lying. Ask him which shipper you should use." He does not answer that
"3 kg trade is not nothing." Was an order of 9 € because collection albums weigh a lot
"a percentage of 99.5%, so what are you worried about?" because of the dishonest (obnoxious) buyers

buizer Strangely enough, part of Mondial is delivered in Belgium by bpost.
In the Netherlands this is done by DHL
The cheapest remains Homerr, but it is even slower

The Postage Prices at Catawiki are often astronomically small parcel with Trace from NL within EU costs 10.95, fits a comic book very often at Postage € 35.50 and do not bid higher!

I notice that on Catawiki some seller charge overpriced postage cost recover on the buyer a part  the percentage that Catawiki charge them when they do a sale at a Catawiki auction.

I bought only 4 items  on Catawiki, not good bargains at all and for 4 of them I had to send them back at my own expenses for not fair description on the quality.

Because of all that I stop many years ago to buy on Catawiki and no hope I will buy something on Catawiki as I hate to loose money.

They did. But what is the use of complaining about another website no one has any influence over?

Not an understandable answer for me. The fact that dishonest buyers exist is still no reason to worry ;-)

This issue has been discussed before and the conclusion was that the seller is not given a feedback option (see for example Postage Stamps forum Feedback by seller? (lastdodo.nl) ).

vertigo I remember that, but that doesn't make me think it's fair.
I also remember that at the time there was a buyer who gave negative advice to almost every seller. But he stayed out of harm's way and I don't know if he is still at it, because I then sent him a message telling him not to buy anything from me anymore.

No, I don't think this is Catawiki, almost from the beginning the first sites of Catawiki from NL were translated into German, I know the difference very well, I was just pointing out that there are Sellers who take fantasy prices for Porto and If that is the case, I just don't buy PS. It has often been mentioned that you should enter the Ebay system. If you enter more than the real Postage price, you cannot top-load the item. It comes in Red. For this Category, the Maximum Postal price is .... nothing changes, bad luck won't get you anywhere
