FYI for cigar band connoisseurs. Just imported tobacco tin #10040669

The well-known cigar bands from Lokin & Weisz are not dated, the only thing I could quickly find is a registration in 116 Bedrijfsgroep voor de Tobacco Processing Industry (NIOD Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies)
https://www.archieven.nl/nl/zoeken?mivast=0&mizig=210&miadt=298&miaet=1&micode=116&minr=1602693&miview=inv2

I don't know whether all cigar bands can be more or less dated.

Lokin and Weisz was located in Amsterdam: Rozenstraat 51/53 and 55.
Closed during the Second World War due to a lack of tobacco and never started again

Thank you for your response. Logical lack of tobacco and lack of anything and everything at the time, hence the endless list of discontinued companies during wartime. Sometimes you don't think about that enough.
Question: I don't know anything about cigar bands, but how are they normally dated?

Dating cigar bands is not a custom. Certainly before 1960 - after that the serial volumes came - are housed in catalogs - often with a year
